High Street High Street in Glasgow, Scotland is the city's oldest and one of its most historically significant streets. Originally the city's main street in medieval times, it formed a direct north-south artery between the Cathedral of St. Mungo (later Glasgow Cathedral) in the north, to Glasgow Cross and the banks of the River Clyde. The High Street now stops at Glasgow Cross, with the southern continuation being the Saltmarket. Moderators: Slade Johnson, Sadie Anderson |

FHQ FHQ is Scotland’s first and only female Gay Bar/Club. Glasgow has finally caught up the UK’s other major cities with the addition of this uber-trendy new venue. Upon entering the Lounge, you might feel like you've walked into a Victorian gentleman's club filled with plush, comfortable seats, a fireplace and a grand bar. On the weekends, campy, danceable tunes drift through the air from the downstairs dancefloor. The crowd here is young, hip and out to party. Moderators: Slade Johnson, Sadie Anderson |

Glasgow Barrowland Market The Barras is a major street and indoor weekend market in the East End of Glasgow, Scotland. The term "barra" is Glaswegian dialect for "barrow", relating to the market's early years, where traders sold their wares from handcarts. Barrowland is sometimes used to describe the district itself where the market is located, which is actually officially known as Calton. Moderators: Slade Johnson, Sadie Anderson |
